My Story
I’m Rose Placid, a singer-songwriter creating music rooted in emotion, storytelling, and real-life experience. My work lives at the intersection of soulful expression and modern sound, shaped by artists who embody style, grace, and authenticity like Toni Braxton and Mary J. Blige. I’ve also embraced an organic, soul-driven vibe inspired by India Arie and Lauryn Hill. My LP, Let's Work It Out, is a deeply personal compilation of love songs that explore the full spectrum of emotions within relationships. Every song comes from my own experiences, moments of love, uncertainty, growth, and healing. Through this project, I invite you into my journey, one that reflects how music has remained a constant source of strength and positivity in my life, even through health challenges, family setbacks, and discouragement.
